More About – Harold Falkner: More Than an Arts & Crafts Architect

Many will remember Sam Osmond’s comprehensive and lavishly illustrated book ‘Harold Falkner: More Than an Arts & Crafts Architect’. Sam has now written an article for the Farnham & District Museum Society journal, which brings the book up to date.

Sam Osmond commented: “I am pleased that since this book was published in 2003, no major errors have been discovered, and the second-hand value is now double the price of the original. But Falkner left his papers in a mess, and compiling a comprehensive list of his buildings was difficult. However, local government officials who read my book subsequently alerted me to two notable Falkner houses I had omitted, and new information has come to light, allowing me to locate one more”.
