The Farnham &
District Museum Society aims to support the
Museum of Farnham and is concerned with the
History, Archaeology, Natural History and other
matters of interest in Farnham and the surrounding
area.
The Society presents a series of lectures through
the winter and publishes a Quarterly Journal
covering aspects of local interest, occasional
publications and holds seminars at the museum.

New Publication
- Art in the
Community
June saw the launch of
our latest publication,
together with Farnham Public
Art Trust.
One of our popular authors,
Roy Waight, has cooperated
with local Farnham
personality Sue Farrow to
produce a book putting
Farnham's public art in its
historical context. Those of
you who have read Roy's work
before will be conscious of
the readability of his
books, while imparting much
information about our town.
The sheer quantity of public
art in the town is truly
amazing, and the pair have
found some pieces of art
which will be surprise most
people. The book is lavishly
illustrated and has a useful
map of the whereabouts of
the art.
The price of the book will
be £13.99 (+ p.p if
required). We hope very much
